does herbal tea have caffeine?

Generally, no. By nature, true herbal teas (often called tisanes) are made from flowers, roots, bark, leaves, fruits, and other plant parts that are naturally 100% caffeine-free. The only time you'll find an exception in our pantry is with blends that feature cacao nibs or shells, which carry a very tiny, trace amount of naturally occurring caffeine.
