FAQs

Does Sweater Weather contain caffeine?

Almost none. There's a trace amount of naturally occurring caffeine from the cacao nibs, similar to what you'd find in a teeny-tiny square of dark chocolate, but this is not a caffeinated tea and won't keep you up at night.

What's the best way to brew loose-leaf tea?

This is how we brew the perfect cup of Sweater Weather:

  • 1 tablespoon per 12 fl oz. of water
  • Cover & steep for 10+ minutes
  • If desired, sweeten with herbal honey

*Note that due to the denser spices in this blend, we recommend a little longer of a covered steep than our other loose-leaf herbal tea blends.

Is the tea bag plastic-free?

All of our teas are loose-leaf, not bagged, so there's no mesh, glue, or microplastics involved. The pouch it ships in is 100% compostable.

More ways to enjoy Sweater Weather?

Steep it strong and it works beautifully as a base for a spiced tea latte (just add warm milk and honey), a cozy mulled cider blend, or a reduction for glazes and baked goods.
