For the Well-Watered, But Under-Mineralized

Nettle & Citrus Hydration Elixir is here to remineralize you. Your body loses minerals every day: in sweat, in heat, in the ordinary work of being alive. Without minerals, water passes through without ever really hydrating you. Nettle & Citrus Hydration Elixir is a raw apple cider vinegar and honey tonic built around three of the most mineral-dense plants we know: stinging nettle, Irish sea moss, and milky oat tops.

Why You'll Love It

✿ Hydration That Works from the Inside Out: Water keeps you hydrated. Minerals keep you hydrated well. Nettle, sea moss, oat tops, and ACV bring an impressive electrolyte profile to every spoonful.

✿ A Living Formula: Enzyme-rich raw apple cider vinegar works to effectively pull minerals, including hydrating electrolytes, from mineral-dense herbs.

✿ Made for the Glass, Not the Medicine Cabinet: Stir a tablespoon into still or sparkling water for the easiest & purest electrolyte-rich hydration you've had all week.

WHAT'S INSIDE

about the botanicals

Densely Mineral-Rich & Nourishing

stinging nettle

Nettle is one of the most nutritionally rich plants you can eat. It's exceptionally high in minerals (iron, calcium, magnesium, potassium, silica, and more) along with chlorophyll, vitamin C, and a range of flavonoids. Traditionally used as a spring tonic and a food (it's delicious wilted like spinach), here, it forms the mineral backbone of this hydration elixir.*

Deep Nourishment from the Sea

Irish sea moss

Irish sea moss is a nutrient-dense Atlantic seaweed with a remarkable mineral profile, often cited as containing over 90 trace minerals, including iodine, selenium, potassium, and magnesium. Sea moss has been studied for its potential to support thyroid function, as well as gut and skin health.*

Gentle & Cooling

elderflower

Elderflower comes from the same plant as elderberry, but offers something different: a softer, more delicate action. Traditionally used as a cooling herb in summer heat, elderflower is also a gentle diaphoretic, supporting the body's ability to regulate temperature from the inside. Rich in flavonoids including rutin and quercetin, elderflower brings antioxidant and mild anti-inflammatory action to this elixir.*

Reviews

FAQs

What is an oxymel?

An oxymel is a traditional, syrup-like herbal preparation made with vinegar and honey. The name comes from the ancient Greek words for "acid" (oxys) and "honey" (meli).

We use raw, enzyme-rich, living vinegar and raw Appalachian honey in our oxymels. The serve as active ingredients, each bringing their own antimicrobial and immune-supporting properties to the formula.*

What is a drinking vinegar?

A drinking vinegar is a small but mighty category: raw vinegar infused with fruit, herbs, and a touch of sweetener, meant to be diluted and sipped rather than used in cooking.

How is this different from other electrolyte or hydration drinks?

Most electrolyte products are built around isolated sodium and potassium, sometimes with added sugars or synthetic vitamins. This elixir brings minerals in their whole-plant context, the way you'd get them from eating a bowl of wilted nettles or a pot of seaweed broth. It's not engineered hydration. It's just deeply nourishing food.*

What does it taste like?

Bright and citrusy up front, with the clean tang of raw apple cider vinegar, a subtle floral note from elderflower, and an earthy, slightly salty mineral depth underneath.

How do I use it?

Shake well before use. Stir 1-3 teaspoons into still or sparkling water daily. You can also add it to mocktails or use it in dressings and vinaigrettes.

Try this Sparkling Cucumber Cooler, a delicious and wildly refreshing coconut-water electrolyte mocktail.

Can I take this every day?

Yes. 1-3 teaspoons a day a good tonic dose to help replenish minerals.*

Is this safe for children, during pregnancy or while nursing?

We recommend checking with your midwife or healthcare provider before adding any herbal preparation to your routine during pregnancy or while nursing, as some herbs are not appropriate in those stages.

This product contains raw honey and is not recommended for children under 12 months. For older children, consult your pediatrician or a qualified herbalist.
