💚 We source raw, unpasteurized wildflower honey from our local beekeepers in Western North Carolina. With the exception of the rose petals that are currently sourced from suppliers that mirror our commitment to quality, sustainability, fair trade, & organic agriculture, the rest of the botanicals in Charmed & Delighted are sourced from small-scale organic farmers & foragers in the USA.
One of our on-going sustainability initiatives is to source as many of our ingredients as possible from small-scale domestic farmers.

The Sweetest Way to Help the Medicine Go Down?
An electuary is a nutritive and/or medicinal paste made from mixing powdered herbs and/or spices with honey. It’s a term that’s a bit archaic (& is thought to be derived from a Greek word meaning ‘to lick up’), so we use the term interchangeably with “herbal honey.”
Technicalities aside, we think it’s one of the more delicious ways to help the medicine go down! Instead of heat-infusing herbs into honey & then straining out the plant material, for maximum potency in each batch, we fresh-grind our own botanicals to a fine powder & then slowly stir them into a sweet-as-can-be raw & unpasteurized wildflower honey made by our very own local bees.
You’ll get the whole-plant benefits & as the powdered herbs gently infuse into the honey, the flavor will mature & deepen.
