Salted Lemon Drop Mocktail with Electrolytes
Summer heat calls for something quick, cold, and worth making again. This one's built on fresh citrus and raw honey. It's the kind of concentrate you keep in the fridge and reach for without thinking, and it works because the ingredients were chosen specifically to nourish, effectively hydrate, and take the edge off the heat.
This electrolyte mocktail with a salted rim contains mineral-rich stinging nettle and nutritious spring greens to support hydration, cooling elderflower to soothe, citrus for the ultra refreshment. Make the concentrate once and sip on something refreshing all week long.

Wild & Weedy Finishing Salt
Wild & Weedy Finishing Salt is our spring greens harvest captured in a convenient sprinkle: stinging nettle, chickweed, and plantain captured at peak to hold the mineral-richness and verdant abundance of the season.
Nettle brings important electrolytes like potassium and magnesium, chickweed adds silica for skin barrier support, plantain brings in zinc. One half teaspoon of this salt dissolves into the mocktail concentrate. Another rims the glass so you taste the green herbal minerality first.

Nettle & Citrus Hydration Elixir
Nettle & Citrus Hydration Elixir brings more electrolyte-richness. One tablespoon per drink. Alongside the nettle's minerals, this blend includes cooling elderflower (which helps modulate body temperature on hot days) and Irish sea moss for iodine and trace minerals that support thyroid function.
HOW TO MAKE
Salted Lemon Drop Electrolyte Mocktail
Makes 4-5 16oz mocktails.
Ingredients:
For the lemon drop concentrate:
- 1 cup fresh-squeezed lemon juice (~6-8 lemons, depending on size)
- 1/4 cup fresh-squeezed orange juice (~1 large orange)
- 1 tablespoon raw honey, or to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon Wild & Weedy Finishing Salt
For the mocktail (per glass):
- 1/4-1/3 cup concentrate, depending on how tart you prefer
- 1 tablespoon Nettle & Citrus Hydration Elixir
- 12 oz sparkling water
- ice
- optional rimmer: Wild & Weedy Finishing Salt, lemon wedge
- optional garnish: slice of lemon or orange, fresh mint
Instructions:
-
Make the salted lemon drop concentrate. Add lemon juice, orange juice, honey, and salt to a pint-sized jar with wild. Stir or shake until honey and salt are dissolved.
-
Craft your mocktail. For each glass:
- If you're feeling fancy, run a lemon wedge around the rim of your fave mocktail glass. Then dip into Wild & Weedy Finishing Salt for a brilliantly salty & green glass rimmer.
- To your glass, add ice, the Salted Lemon Drop Mocktail concentrate, 1 tablespoon of Nettle & Citrus Hydration Elixir, & top off with sparkling water.
- Garnish as desired & enjoy.
- Store leftover concentrate in the refrigerator. Due to the high acidity of this concentration, it's best to store in a glass jar with a non-reactive lid. If you only have a metal lid, just make sure to place a square of wax paper or parchment paper between the glass and the lid before screwing the lid on tight. Store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
